| All Thing Rock Interview:::
[ATR] Is there anything you want to say to the fans, or any bands you want to plug? [Matt] You weren’t even paying attention! [ATR] Now we know why you weren’t saying anything! [Kenny] Nah-uh! Hey, Matt’s being stupid to me today! I hate you! [ATR] Oh yeah? [Kenny] Yeah, he threw my pen today. Yeah, he threw my pen. He was like, “Can I borrow your pen?” and I was like, “Sure.” And he threw it! He’s a d*ck. Yeah, to all the listeners who think “Aww, ooh!! Cute Matt!” MATT’S a d*ck! A d*ck that throws his friends’ pens! He’s not a real friend because he throws their pens. And I’d like to say, thank you to our fans for being our fans, and not for being Matt’s fans, because he’s MEAN! And if anyone doesn’t like Matt, then GOOD. He’s stupid and he has a stupid face and he’s ugly. *laughing* [Matt] I’m ugly!? [Kenny] No, you’re cute!! *laughing* But anyways, I wanna shout out some bands, like Jurassic 5, Sevendust, The Prizefight, Motion City Soundtrack, Park, The Format, 7 Angels 7 Plagues... After the interview, Tom (drums) joined Mike, Matt and Kenny on stage, and they rocked the crowd like crazy. These guys are so hysterical and genuine that it’s hard not to love them. They’re truly in it for the music and their fans, which is incredibly refreshing to see in this business. And speaking of the fans, they gave me a contest for you! (Check it out on the contests page.) I’m definitely going to catch up with them when they come to Worcester on their next tour with Taking Back Sunday. If you loved their CD, “Say It Like You Mean It,” you’ll be blown away at one of their shows! Check your local venue listings to see when they’ll be coming to a city near you!! |

Jamie: Name, Position in band and Position in bed. Kenny: Kenny, I play bass, and well I'm a virgin so I don't have one. Jamie: Do you ever get he sudden urge to beat the piss out of a snuggle bear? Matt: A snuggle bear? Kenny: What's a snuggle bear? Jamie: I don't know, next question. How was the warped tour? Jamie: band mates in 3 words (after much dispute on is it all of them in 3 words, or each one?) Matt and Kenny: Mike-Whimsical, stunning, charming Kenny: Tom-Bowling, sleepy, food Matt: Kenny-happy wood gardening (at this point Kenny and I both look at matt in confusing...) Kenny: yea, I love gardening its a big hobby of mine Kenny: Matt-beautiful, friend and good. Jamie: best memory ever in the band? Matt: the one time mike shit his pants on stage--well crap I don't know if you can print shit. Kenny: the one time i smashed my bass. Jamie: favorite pick up line....(after much deliberation...) Kenny: I lost my phone number can I have yours? Matt: hey, uh, wanna sit on my lap? |
